The Boxy Series

Creations for sale are priced below. Limited edition prints may also be available for purchase. Please feel free to request additional photos or information if interested.

Zima Blue

Created as a homage to the named episode from death, love & robots I found incredibly moving. The episode explores the similarities of humans & robots in the vein of “real” & “artificial” life and art. Not for sale but prints are available – interested? Email liquidshadowdesign@gmail.com

The Lighthouse

A bit of fun with mixed media! Acrylic pour background with print of a lighthouse adhered to the surface. 12×18 wood panel with black floating frame. $180 + shipping.

Fragmented

As seen in Naturalist Gallery of Contemporary Art New Age Exhibition January 2026, this piece captures the subtle entanglement of inner thought and outer reality. Acrylic, gold leaf on wood panel. 24×24. $300 + shipping costs.

Griffith

A more unique perspective of our wonderful octopus friends. Griffith is bright and curious. Acrylic pour/paint on canvas. 20×20 floating gold frame. $700 + shipping costs.

Lavinia

Lavinia is a darker creature of the deep. The fluid acrylic has “crazing” (splits caused by the paint drying at different rates). While not considered ideal for fluid art, it created the perfect texture of an octopus. Acrylic pour/paint on canvas. 20×20 floating gold frame. $700 + shipping costs.

Octopoda

Fluid acrylic poured octopus on wood panel. 12×18. $80 + shipping costs.

Electric Zebra

Fluid acrylic on canvas. 8×8 in floating gold frame $125 + shipping costs.

Saguaro

Fluid acrylic poured cacti on canvas. 16×16 in floating frame $275 + shipping costs.

Eclipse of the Worm Moon

As seen in “Fusion Art – Colors 2026 Art Exhibition”, this piece was inspired by the full moon eclipse in March, with the daisies just starting to bloom in Appalachia. Fluid acrylic pour with acrylic wash on canvas. 16×16 in floating frame $275 + shipping costs.

Mosaic Hummingbird

Fluid acrylic pour & acrylic marker on canvas, 30×30. Submitted to an open art call; will list for sale once notified of acceptance.

Between Moon & Mountain

Honoring that time of morning and evening when everything is tinted blue, this work showcases a series of acrylic pour mountain ranges, with a soft glowing moon (airbrush). 15x30x1.5 on canvas. $550 + shipping costs.

The Striped Fox

As seen in “Monochromica The Journal Of Monochrome Art” Issue 009 ORANGE ART, of which only the color orange can be used. This was quite a challenge! This piece is published in the 009 magazine issue and online flip book. 20x20x1.5 wood panel & gold floating frame. $800 + shipping costs.

The Divine Bovine

This was created for an open art call honoring cows! With a longhorn for inspiration, I added some color to the long ‘horns’ with an acrylic pour body. Thicker acrylic on the brow and background add dimension. Will be for sale once art call is complete. 15×30 on canvas with black floating frame.

The Luna Moth

Fluid acrylic poured Luna moth and background with gold leaf moon. 16x20x1.5 wood panel. $80 + shipping costs.

The Imperial Moth

Fluid acrylic poured Imperial moth and background with gold leaf moon. Imperial moths are one of the largest moths in North America, with wingspans reaching up to 7 inches! 16x20x1.5 wood panel. $80 + shipping costs.

SOLD - Ophelia

Sold while displayed at the Vashon Center for the Arts “Deep Water Dialogues: Art Beneath the Surface” exhibition. Fluid acrylic poured octopus on canvas, 15×30.

SOLD - Peaceful Planet

Fluid acrylic poured moon placed on painted canvas.

SOLD - Howl

As seen in “Pareidolia – Recognizing what we wish to see” art call for at Shadowboxx Gallery in Waukegan IL. While I chose the palette, the muses of destiny chose the design to be a true pareidolia art. The wolf appeared, and I added the ear and definition to pull out the moon.

SOLD - Marcellus

Fluid acrylic pour on canvas. 16×24 on canvas.

SOLD - Night on Fire

I created this piece for an exhibition exploring the color red, right around when California wild fires were causing evacuations for people and wildlife in the impacted areas. My goal was to create an artists view of a mountain town at night, with raging wildfires licking up to the sky, dangerously closing in on the night lights visible past the mountain range.

20×20 canvas.

SOLD - Marbled

Fluid acrylic pour, 15×30 on canvas.

SOLD - A Turbulent Ocean Sunset

Fluid acrylic pour, 12×12 on canvas & framed.
