Hi, I’m Erica! I aim to create art that sparks connection and joy. Every project is an opportunity to create through experimentation, to learn, to have fun, and trigger “happy accidents” that illuminate paths to intentional design.
Real, human made art should be accessible to all – and I would be honored if my creations would hang upon your wall!
I believe that creatives – whether through music, sculpture, art, or other forms of expression – bring their visions to life in ways that naturally find their audience. The art is brought forth into existence and pulled by an invisible thread to soul it is destined for.
I enjoy capturing the beauty and energy of the natural world with a hint of abstraction in the pieces I create. My work often has an earth element as the compositional anchor - the moon, trees, living forms, oceans, mountains, sky – reflecting the raw elements of nature. I use the fluidity of acrylic pouring to visually depict the energy and movement of the main subject.
My process combines planning and spontaneity. The acrylic pour always brings a level of chaos and unpredictably - often changing the initial concept and requiring adaptation. Each new piece becomes a captured moment of control and chaos.
